I know that we talk quite a bit about everyday style here on the Shore City blog, which, let's face it, is what most of us wear everyday.....haha.
But every now and then, the occasion calls for us to frock up and look a little more fabulous (not that we don't look fab everyday, but you know what I mean).
Spring is just around the corner, so there will be more parties, weddings and work functions coming up so I thought I'd show you guys some great ideas on what to wear for a night out from around the wonderful retailers at Shore City!
I've found three gorgeous looks, from three different stores (so it makes it easy, you can just walk in and get the head to toe look), that would work for a night out.
Sleek and Sophisticated - Country Road
SHOP THE LOOK (all Country Road) Soft Jacket $299 | Peg Leg Pant $199 | Natalie Buckle Heel $299 |
Molly Mini Clutch $139 | Natasha Necklace $79.90.
This is such a classic look that would work on most body shapes. You could even add a cami under the jacket if you didn't want to do it up.
This would be perfect for a work function, or even a nice dinner out (just don't spill your pasta on that white jacket!).
Such a pretty look that will keep you feeling on trend. The knit is great in this weather, and you could even add an ankle boot if you wanted to make it a little more funky.
The pleated skirt is one of the hottest items for spring, so this piece will certainly get lots of wear in your everyday looks too.
Feminine and Fun - Portmans
SHOP THE LOOK (all Portmans): "Fleur" Bright Lights Midi Dress $119.95 | Luxe Tassel Drop Earrings $19.95 | Marley Metallic Cross Body Clutch $49.95 | Eliza Block Heel $89.95
I love the dark florals we're seeing coming through right now. They work perfectly at this time of year because you can still make them look wintery with tights and boots and a black jacket, but as the weather warms up, start adding softer colours in your accessories to bring in the new season.
This is such a fun party dress, but you could also wear it to a wedding, or any special event you have coming up!
Dressing up for an event can be stressful, so it's important to have some fun with it too! These are three different looks that could work on most body shapes and sizes, and I love the bonus that you can (pretty much) get the whole look from one place - sometimes it's just easier right?
So if you've got an awesome event coming up, I hope this has given your some inspiration to have fun with finding an outfit!
Until Next Time, Happy Shopping!
